Quality Design & Service

Breda decided to retire from the Kilkenny People Newspaper after a career spanning thirty years to set up Kilkenny Cards in response to an increasing local demand for a Memorial Card service that would be unique, sympathetic, and in every sense of the word, personal.

She is committed to providing a service and product that is flawless. Her years of experience in advertising are brought to bear, together with the organisational and people-centered skills that saw her elected National President of the Irish Countrywomen's Association in the Millennium Year 2000. A member of the I.C.A. Sevenhouses Guild, Danesfort, Kilkenny, for forty years, she has also been involved with Amber Women's Refuge in Kilkenny and has also served on the Board of the National Women's Council of Ireland - the umbrella body for women's organisations in Ireland. Breda believes in community, and is a passionate advocate of the organisations she has been involved with.

She is immensely proud of her City and it’s people, and she strongly and actively believes in giving back. As a further addition to the voluntary positions she held over the years she is now a member of the Garda Reserve in Kilkenny and is thrilled with the positive response she encounters.
